Education and enjoyment, not medical advice
Crystal Healing Network shares the traditions, folklore and spiritual beliefs connected with crystals, sound, scent and ritual. We share them for education and enjoyment.
Nothing on this site is medical, psychological or professional advice. Nothing here is meant to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or condition. Crystals, singing bowls, incense and essential oils are not a substitute for care from a doctor, therapist or other qualified professional.
About "healing" crystals
"Healing crystals" is a popular name, not a scientific claim. There's no scientific evidence that crystals heal illness. When we describe what a stone is "associated with," we're describing lore and tradition.
Safety
- Some crystals aren't safe in water or when handled as dust. See our guide to water-safe crystals.
- Essential oils can irritate skin and can be harmful to pets, especially cats. Never swallow them. See essential oil safety basics.
- Incense and smoke can bother people with asthma or breathing conditions. Ventilate, and never leave a flame unattended.
- If you are pregnant, have a medical condition, or take medication, talk to a professional before trying new practices.
